AGUA
Water. The past six months I have been seriously dehydrating myself. Not on purpose of course but it has happened none the less and the consequences have been very apparent in my overall health. Ruben encouraged me to drink a gallon of water daily and I'm happy to report that it's going well. I know from past experience that having a gallon container helps me to see my intake but I didn't want to use a plastic water bottle (for obvious reasons) so I bought this glass gallon jug.
Last Christmas my dad got us a water purifier and it's been so awesome to have quality water to drink. It gets out all the flouride and other crap in the water. At long last I'm not fearing what I'm drinking every time I take a sip!
I look forward to taking better care of myself this year. I have lots of plans in that department but one step at a time is best for me.
Have you made any resolutions/goals for the new year?

More water is on my agenda too. Less sugar. Being fit. The usual. Good luck, you seem to do well at it <3
ReplyDeleteAnd good luck to you :)
DeleteSuch a great idea! As a breast-feeding mom more water was on my list this year. Maybe a pretty glass jug on the counter-top would help provide a little incentive - I think it's a great idea. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThe pretty jug totally helps!
DeleteDrinking more water is a priority for me too. I find that I can get rid of my headaches by drinking water, which tells me I am getting them because I am dehydrated. I need to drink more water. It's hard though, because I like coffee and tea so much. Having a pretty jug is a good idea!
ReplyDeleteOther goals include being more active, having lots of fun, and finding more music to love.
Cheers!
i love coffee too. it makes drinking water more difficult because i could easily drink coffee all day!
DeleteWhat kind of water purifier do you use?
ReplyDeleteI have this one-

A gallon is a bit much - you could flush out a lot of nutrients before your body has a chance to use them. Go for two liters.
ReplyDeleteI use this exact same gallon too! I need to be drinking more than I am ~ I think I'll go drink some now. More self-care and acceptance this year. Happy 2015.
ReplyDeleteamen to that!
