so, it's officially summer! and although these "lovely" photos may bring you to believe all has been splendid, things actually got off to a rough start but i think we will slowly get into a new rhythm for these longer days that we will be spending together. i'm trying not to have any grand expectations for these months but rather take each day as it comes and make the best of our time off. so, here's to living in the moment folks! i have a hard time doing just that but i'm giving it the old college try ;)

Oh my gosh! So so so sweet. It's the rough times that make this little, dear life what it is and honestly, I'd take a little rough time to see wee Marianne with her hands on her hips, staring down that fern and a bite of your white bean (?) salad, but I'll take your word for it. Transitions are always and forever though. Love to you and yours.

We have six weeks in December with ours at home....it seems sooooo long doesn't it. At least it is never as bad as we hope it won't be. I like the photo of your flower pressing. Good luck! x
