Greeting Cards

I'm putting all the stamps I've carved to good use and am now selling greeting cards! Each 100% recycled card is stamped with a hand carved stamp made my me! I have four designs available-

If you have been following me for a long time, you may remember my first attempt at Christmas cards five years ago (here). My watercolor VW bus was my favorite and I decided to resurrect it by carving it into a stamp.

we celebrated my dad's 60th birthday on friday and while i was over helping get ready i came across some old family photos. if you're anything like me you never tire of seeing moments captured years ago.

yesterday we spent the evening at jessica's celebrating the onset of summer. we made flower crowns (thank you milla for the tutorial) sipped on beer, ate tacos and watched the kids swim and have fun. i had to get some pictures in jessica's vw bus. i was pretending it was mine and we were on a roadtrip across the country. as i said to nicky and jessica, "i'm livin' the dream baby!" hehehe...i wish!

independance day

we spent a beautiful 4th of july at the beach with jessica, her family and our friends. they took their most amazing motor home down and we hung out in it, had beers, enjoyed the sunshine and had a super fun time. thanks mike and jessica!

my dream vehicle

since we are soon going to be a family of 6, a bigger car is a must. the car we have now only seats 5. obviously that won't work come may. if i had my way and all the money necessary, we would be driving around in a vw bus. i have wanted one...well forever. actually, when i was little we did have one (i'll have to dig the pictures up) much like the 2nd photo. i believe it was a '77 westfalia (kathy if your reading this, you can let me know if that's right). i'm not sure if the campers seat 6 but that would be my first choice, for obvious camping reasons. i don't believe material things really bring happiness, BUT i KNOW if i had one of these magical machines...i would be oh so stoked! and for a long time!

did i just say material things don't bring happiness??? how silly i am!
