Our first day we stayed at a beautiful secret spot in the valley. The park was the most crowded I'd ever seen it but we didn't see one person on the river that day, we had it all to ourselves!
the next day we stayed up in Wawona, near our cabin, and found a great spot to hang out for the day.
So much beauty at every turn.
Fun times in the cabin!
Let's not forget the plants and flowers!
Manzanita
St. Johnswort? If you know, feel free to let me know.
Yarrow
Crimson Columbine
Primrose Monkey Flower
Cow parsnip
Alpine Shooting Star

Mullein
...and a group shot :)
Until next time Yosemite!
I hope you enjoyed the photo dump Mary ;)

My love and I had a tintype portrait taken at a fair last weekend. I love it except was very disappointed because it lacked the depth and details that your plates have. It's a placeholder until we can have you take one of us. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll look forward to that day!
DeleteI love so much that you are back here blogging and providing these vivid little glimpses into your world. Your children are pure sunshine. Yosemite through your lens and words is purely inviting: not a crowd in sight! How do you manage that?! Also, your new header is choice.
ReplyDeleteAww! Thanks Heather! We can avoid crowds for the most part because of a few secret little spots. Next time you go there talk to me first and I'll tell you about them :)
DeleteI found you on Alicia P's blog list.. loved the shots of Yosemite and your lovely family. I am a blogger that lives in Corbett, Oregon.. nice to meet you! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteHi! Nice to meet you! Glad you stopped by :)
DeleteBeautiful pictures. Definitely makes me want to take a trip to Yosemite! Glad you are back to blogging:) Always like what you have to share. BTW, that Cinnamon Girl embroidery is outa sight! I think I saw it on Houseinhabit's insta first and I was so admiring it.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's nice to be back.
DeleteOh thank you about the shirt! I had initially planned to do more but then I wore it to Yosemite and figured it was good enough :)
