I was happy to wear this sweater today. It's usually not cold enough for really warm sweaters but today was pretty chilly and it has a deer on it, which made me feel festive, so I wore it.

I hope you all are staying sane through these last several days before Christmas! Anyone have any fun solstice plans?

  1. You look so very cute; the sweater is awesome, and I love to think of your sweet little photographer snapping pictures of his lovely mama while his sister runs by. Happy almost-solstice!

  3. Love that deer sweater! Every year we say we want to have a fire outside and do something special with the kids for winter solstice, but it's usually blistering cold out and some other plans come up. Well this year we finally did something. It was actually a rather mild day out weather wise and the sun was shining, which doesn't happen all that much in the Buffalo area this time of year. So we got out and made a fire in the backyard. We each made a list of wishes, goals and things we're thankful for and then shared them and burned them in the fire and then made s'mores with Christmas cookies instead of graham crackers. It was very nice and I think it got our boys to think a little more about goals and being grateful for the people and gifts they have in their lives.

  6. I love this outfit, Anne! Every last detail down to the way you've done your hair to the earrings to the loose-fitting jeans, everything! I am wearing something similar today, actually. I love that "boyfriend" jeans are in style right now because they are the most comfortable, softest things. You look fantastic as usual! Such an inspiration to me. :)
