thrifty sundays

i haven't been out thrifting much in the last several months but the couple times i have gone i have found some cool stuff. a beautiful woven basket, some fun pottery and an amazing irish knit sweater. i also bought yet another plant. i just can't help myself! plus it was only $5...who could pass up a deal like that?!

  2. Steve and I got to have a few days away on our own, and although all of the thrift stores were closed while at our destination (you KNOW i hunted them out), there were a few open on our journey back today. I found a macrame owl and thought of you! It was a little worse for wear though, so put it back. I love how your style and decoration aesthetic suits you so well. And how did Marianne grow so quickly? x

    1. i sure do! i think of how much rad stuff probably gets thrown away, what a bummer because as the saying goes, one man's trash is another man's treasure!

  4. Where'd you find the plant?? I went out recently too! Got clothes for the girls and I.. nothing ground breaking but it felt nice to be out thrifting after a long break. The guy at the counter recognizes me there and commented on how long I had been there- hahah- who made him the "I don't have kids I'm gonna look at everything zombie" police??? xx

  9. wow, super good stuff! Love that heavy knit sweater and that plant is great. I need a few new ones to replace the ones that have died around the house.

But Marianne's toes in that chair, with the cat, is the best. Too. cute.
