mixtape swap

recently ruben made me an awesome mixtape. i told him to pretend we were in high school and put songs on it that he would if we were dating :D really it was a playlist through Spotify but whatever. it's super rad and is a wonderful reminder of our musical connection. i also made one recently but for sad reasons, my step mom's youngest brother died and she asked me to put together a playlist to play during the reception. i really enjoyed choosing the songs and have been listening to both quite a lot. 
last night i had what i thought was a pretty fun idea...a mixtape swap! i'll randomly pair up willing participants and you can fill your playlist with some of your favorite songs and send it off to your partner! i thought it would be a great way to hear some new music. you could also add thoughts/memories about the songs, make a cute cd cover like this...the options are endless! so, what do you think? anyone interested?
