branching out

i've been in serious need of a necklace hanger. until yesterday, all my wonderful necklaces have been wadded up together in my jewelry tray. i have to untangle them all to get to the one i want to wear. now, that's no way to treat your treasures!

so, i decided to remedy the problem. i grabbed a couple branches at the park, some twine and voilà! i have a lovely little necklace holder that i don't mind looking at.

    Oh, I Love this! Such a simple, artistic touch. It certainly suits you (and your unique treasures well) And you are so right about taking care of the things we love by giving them place and order.     Lovely! The way you've engineered it really cool. Thanks for the inspiration. I've been hoping for a madrona branch in just the right shape to put in the bathroom, but so far no luck, so maybe something like this would be a perfect solution.
