branching out

i've been in serious need of a necklace hanger. until yesterday, all my wonderful necklaces have been wadded up together in my jewelry tray. i have to untangle them all to get to the one i want to wear. now, that's no way to treat your treasures!

so, i decided to remedy the problem. i grabbed a couple branches at the park, some twine and voilĂ ! i have a lovely little necklace holder that i don't mind looking at.

happy saturday!

  3. Oh, I Love this! Such a simple, artistic touch. It certainly suits you (and your unique treasures well) And you are so right about taking care of the things we love by giving them place and order. We should all take a lesson. xx Perhaps this little motivation will help me tackle my closet disasters :)

  4. Lovely! The way you've engineered it really cool. Thanks for the inspiration. I've been hoping for a madrona branch in just the right shape to put in the bathroom, but so far no luck, so maybe something like this would be a perfect solution.

  9. Cute! This is the sort of stuff I really want to do more of... DIY is great, even if it's something small and simple like this. It's just so much more personal and charming.
