the dude abides

My new sweater reminds me of the one Jeff Bridges wears in The Big Lebowski. It's not exactly the same but, the closest I've found. Yes, every time I go thrifting, I look for the sweater. It's kind of an obsession :D The bear necklace was recently rediscovered in my jewelry box! My Dad gave it to me when I was in junior high and I'm so thrilled to have held on to it all these years. I love the little touches of turquoise on the eyes and back.

How cool is that card?! The hills are halves of leaves and that little ferns are trees. I want to try and replicate it. So simple and pretty!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. I love that film!! I see what you mean about the cardigan, but you definitely look a lot more stylish!!! I actually met a man who dressed, looked and acted like Jeff Bridges in The Big Lebowski, and it was the greatest day of my life. I love your dress too, the print is so nice, and these photos are lovely!

  3. That sweater looks so comfy! Do you speak any French? The card says "The love of God is marvelous". The little leaves-for-hills thing is really cute.
