You're like on a new music kick! I really like JTE too, my favorite is "Working for the MTA", it sounds just like a old time railroad song! I'm re-reading my favorite author from high school Banana Yoshimoto and this terrifying, but brilliant book called The Shallows- What he Internet Is Doing To Your Brain. I've been slacking on blog-reading due to said book, but have been loving the website longreads. Also two food/holistic living style blogs one which i got from Brigit and other from Mali: NorthWest Edible and My New Roots.
I love my new roots too! I'll have to check out northwest edible. And yes! New music kick! I actually thought of you yesterday when I was browsing spotify listening to a ton of new music...you should be very proud of me ;) if anything, I realized its so bad out in current music land!
Oh gosh, I'm not sure I want to know what the Internet is doing to my brain! I've been trying to cut back big time on all my Internet/phone/social media stuff. It so very distracting and not good for the soul in excess. I look forward the a post about the book? :)
That book is crazy fascinating, girl. It's made realize a few very important things about my own internet habits. It kind of actually reminded me of reading The Last Child In The Woods-things I intuitively know, but that someone wrote out in a very cohesive, digestible and quotable way ;)
I have been given a pile of books from a friend of mine, most are science fiction not something I usually read but i'm enjoying some others are just too weid, I have Dylon on my computer the rest what ever is on the radio. i like your house it looks like a place to relax. Merle........
thank you merle :D when i first got into reading it was science fiction. i actually enjoy it a lot although i haven't read any in years. i've been on a classics kick for about 6 years.
I am happy to find your blog! Can't stop cooking from Smitten Kitchen's book, just heard Ed Romanoff on the radio for the first time. Awesome. And I am keeping on trying over at my home on the web. www.bingbangcrashboom.blogspot.com
Yes! Actually just unwrapped the book for v-day. Now I must convince the library to take my borrowed batter encrusted copy back! Very nice to meet you :)
