i think the best pictures are often on the edges of any situation, i don't find photographing the situation nearly as interesting as photographing the edges.

~william albert allard
as i was sitting in the dentist's office yesterday, waiting for max, i picked up a national geographic magazine and came across these photos. i thought they were amazing and wanted to share them with you all. i just love the one of the guy sitting at the bar. i'd like that one hanging on my wall.

not too much has been happening around here, just everyday life. i wanted to do a post about the last couple of weeks, but the thought of downloading all the pictures seems to be stopping me from such an endeavour. hopefully in the next couple of days i will have time. until then, you can enjoy the pictures above.

  1. Brilliant photographs, I love the artfulness of the pictures you can get in National Geographic and the Geographical magazine, they can often be very moving x

  2. I love the one of the cowboys round the campfire, although my husband swears they don't gaze into it, but out from it, in order to keep their night eyes.

  3. Wish you woulda posted a picture of your shirt re-do. It would fit in perfectly with this bunch of photos :D I love the horse picture and wish we were camping right now and sitting around a lil campfire!

  4. I really dig the one taken from inside the tent, the lighting is so cool.

  5. His pictures are breathtaking. The one around the campfire is beautiful.

thank you so much for stopping by. please feel free to leave a comment! i love reading them :)
