it feels like a century since i last posted. i started half a dozen different posts and scrapped them all. i suppose i have a bit of bloggers block. anyhoo, i wanted to share with you a couple new things i've recently thrifted, both pictured above. first up is the the top. it's super comfy and i'm thinking it would work nicely as a skirt, seeing as how it's strapless and has an elastic bust. i also scored the seagull necklace for a mere $3.99. i think it may be my new fave!
yesterday was a gorgeous day. nice temperature, big puffy, white clouds and sunshine. everything i needed. i snapped a couple shots of this busy bee on the plum tree. i wish i could say i've been as productive as he is, but i've actually been sick... yet again. i'm usually quite healthy, but this pregnancy seems to be taking a toll on me. i guess if there's a positive to being ill, it's that it really makes you appreciate wellness and what a blessing it is to feel good. i pray this is the last time i get sick before the baby comes. i honestly hope you all are feeling well and full of life!
♥ anne
That necklace is beautiful as with all of your photos!!! Have a great weekend! xo
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely, as usual, and that top is so pretty! I agree, I think it could definitely work as a skirt too. Bees and blossoms! Neither of those here yet, probably not for another few months, you lucky duck. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so gorgeous and full of life. I'm sorry you've been ill, but you can look forward to those nice breastfeeding Mama immunities. I love the hemline that rises in the front over the big belly- it's my favorite thing about pregnancy, fashionwise. I'm gonna shoot you off an e-mail to chat about a swap!
ReplyDeleteLots of love,
Claire
I love that top - I have one that looks exactly the same from Forever 21 and I wear it as a skirt. The seagull necklace is gorgeous, as are the pictures of the plum tree.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon.
CUTE! Love that skirt- it reminds me of a dress you have that I love! Hope you're feeling better soon- that ol' pink eye is the devil! We've got some pictionary to play :D
ReplyDeletethat necklace is beautiful. And so too are those trees. I actually stopped to photograph the same trees yesterday down the st. from our house. I love when they bloom. Looks like that little bee is delighted as well.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better. I just got over a violent head cold myself. I haven't been sick in years so it was a bit of a shock to endure for the last week. Miss you and fam! xo
blossoms! my favorite story as a little girl was about this princess from some cold country, who married the king of portugal. she missed the snow so much, he planted huge fields of cherry trees for her, so that when the cherry blossoms bloomed and fell, it would be like snow. <3
ReplyDeleteyou look absolutely stunning. i miss being pregnant. hope you are feeling comfortable these days.
That top and necklace are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteHow far along are you now??

Beauteous photos and finds!
ReplyDeleteI do hope you feel better soon! I always wonder IF and WHEN I get pregnant what I will take if I get a cold or a sickness? I am SOOOO dependent on a few herbs to get by, and they truly work wonders. Yin Ciao, Echinacea, Goldenseal (when thing are the worst), Old Indian Cherry Bark (it's a combination syrup for chest and throat hurts), and this amazing Chinese mix called Smooth Bronchial for immediately clearing up chest meanies and keeping the cough at bay. Problem is, I could swear every last pretty glass bottle says "DO NOT TAKE IF PREGNANT OR NURSING" so I'm like SHEEZ....what CAN an expecting mama take safely?
I guess some hot Pregnancy tea and garlic and honey can't hurt anything! You are so lovely...I truly hope you get better and feel wonderful so soon. As for beer craving....that's another thing I wonder about how I will get by if ever with child! :)
That sea gull necklace is really dainty and sweet. And those photos of the flowers, so beautiful! Definitely looks like a great day with a wonderful weather. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good Sunday! x
I'm in love with the necklace, so cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd how awesome is the weather at your place?! I wish we had such a lovely blue sky with cute white clouds and blooming trees here! Can't wait for spring.
Happy Sunday :)

You always find the cutest stuff! Sorry you haven't been feeling well. Take care of yourself. When is the little gal due to appear?
ReplyDeletei am sorry to hear that you've been under the weather again. i think the stuff going around lately has staying power, where you are better for a week or two and then get sick again. it seems like it is happening to everyone :(
ReplyDeletei love love love both your finds there. gotta love any piece that you can wear multiple ways!
take care.
Hi Anne! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I loved your comment. You are gorgeously pregnant! I was revolting with my first and much cuter with my second (my second pregnancy was a whole heap nicer all around though). Being sick with pregnancy is just not fair! Hooray for Spring, can you believe where I am...Autumn is almost here, and so I am getting ready to settle in for the chilly seasons. Take care.
ReplyDeletefirst time on your blog i love it you are so beautiful and love this boho outfit on you :)
