yep, I'm excited to say that the little lamb growing in me is a girl! I've already bought some adorable clothes, while out thrifting. I just couldn't resist. That's the problem with girls, there are so many sweet little dresses that it's nearly impossible to pass them up.

Now it's on to choosing a name. Anyone have any suggestions? What's your favorite girl name?

OH MY GOODNESS! this is too fun; it rounds out your little herd so perfectly! i am soooo excited for you and i agree, thrifting for little girl stuff is supremely fun.
ReplyDeletethe names i've always liked seem to have gotten pretty popular lately, like Lilah and Lola and Ella. Names like that seem to me both old-fashioned, pretty, and powerful at once.
Aww! Congratulations <3
ReplyDeleteI love that first little dress with the horse on it!
I also love old fashioned names.. i like Amelia, Scarlet, Coraline and Matilda
Robin. My mothers name is Robin, I think it's gorgeous. Sounds so light and lovely and sing-songy. :)
ReplyDeleteYay! So excited for you all :D
ReplyDeleteSo her arrival will establish a balance between male and female energy in your family? Perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh, names. I can't counsel on that, my kids have rather unique --some say silly--names due to my preoccupation with both meaning and rareness (I didn't want them ever to be one of several mikes or jennifers in their class or workplace...which is funny since those two names were so popular when I was little but I don't hear them anymore).
Congrats, and have fun gathering all sorts of cuteness and considering loads of flowery, spunky, and magical names!
I'm so excited you're having a little girl!!!! These are names I LOVED, though we went with Olivia.... Lucille, Fern, June, and Pearl. All lovely 1920's names :D See ya tonight pretty lady!
ReplyDeleteoh its a so lovely xxxx
ReplyDeleteYay! How fun! I love how you announced it with all these adorable pics too :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, I will keep the name thing in mind and let you know if I come up with any good ones. Do you have any that you like so far?
Hooray! Little girl stuff is so much fun.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Anne! Sugar and spice x I'm going through an old names phase right now..Ada, Ruby, Molly and Audrey x
ReplyDeleteOkay, these are my very FAVORITE names!! Avery and Zulu or Zuzu... just so cute in my opinion!! You have a very sweet blog!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, little miss Alex has my all time fav girl name...next on my list is a toss up as to which is my next fav...
ReplyDeleteArielle and Amelia. Of course Amelia has all sorts of wonderful and powerful connotations.
ooooh a girl! so excited for you :)
ReplyDeleteHmm names I love include: Penelope, Lola, Clementine, Matilda and Madeline :)I know this sounds morbid but graveyards are my favourite places for inspiration for names!
