ReplyDeleteThose quotes are wonderful. I feel that way about my husband..I tell him everything about me and he still loves me and likes me. The picture of the two girls with their hair braided together is perfect for this post. I found it so touching.

ReplyDeletethank you for the quotes and images. i too have been pondering friendship and what it means, who my true friends are. i've been going through some tough stuff, and was out to coffee with a friend and there was a quote on the espresso machine that said, "a friend is someone who listens. a best friend is someone who says, 'somebody's gonna get it!'". and while i don't condone taking on someone else's battles, empathy is a huge part of what makes a friendship for me.
