My Finger Puppets

I don't think I've shared all the finger puppets I've made over the years. It all started several years ago when Shane was obsessed with the three little pigs. I searched around online for some cool finger puppets but couldn't find any good ones so I decided to make some myself. I was really happy with how they came out and since then I've made one or two a year.

I made Maisy for a birthday gift for a friend's daughter.

The Tomten

One day I was inspired to make one of Nick Cave. I found it interesting how a few stitches could look so much like someone.

I started a list of people I wanted to stitch and Gram Parsons was next. I knew his Nudie Suit would make it challenging but I gave it a go anyway! Are you laughing at these yet? Because I do every time I look at them!

And last but not least Jerry Garcia.

Jerry is my favorite. I think he came out perfect! I realized I can only make them when truly inspired and Jerry just flowed. I might make a guitar for him...we'll see.

And in case you're wondering what I'm ever going to do with these, the answer is...I have no idea! But there you have it! A few on the waiting list to be made are Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and the rest of the cast of The Big Lebowski. The cast of Twin Peaks would be awesome too. I'd make the Log Lady first.
